Best time to visit Southern Vietnam:

Like Central Vietnam, the South has two seasons: dry and rainy. Still, the weather in the South is different in timing, almost opposite to that in the Central.

Dry season (December to April): This is often considered the best time to visit the South. The weather is dry and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C, perfect for outdoor activities, exploring Ho Chi Minh City, and relaxing on the beach in Ho Tram (Vung Tau) or the beautiful Phu Quoc island.

Rainy season (May to November): This season has showers, usually concentrated in the afternoon. Humidity is high, and sudden heavy rains can occur, but they are not as persistent as in Central Vietnam. The landscape in the rainy season is often lush and green, and travel costs for international visitors can be lower than in other months.
