Da Lat City Weather

Da Lat, known as the “City of a Thousand Flowers” or “City of Eternal Spring”, has a year-round cool climate, thanks to its special location on the plateau. With an average annual temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius, Da Lat creates a symphony of weather in which each note has its own beauty, inviting visitors to explore.

If you love the clear, cool air and blue sky, come during the dry season from November to March. The temperature ranges from about 15 to 23 degrees Celsius. This is the ideal time to admire the pink grass hills shimmering with morning dew, or the brilliant yellow of wild sunflowers from late October to early November, and especially the romantic beauty of cherry blossoms in spring, from March to April.

The rainy season from April to October, despite the occasional rains, brings a lush, green Da Lat, with temperatures usually ranging from 18 to 24 degrees Celsius. Although April, early May, and October have relatively few visitors, the period from late May to September is often the peak tourist season as many tourists come to Da Lat to “escape the heat” of summer in other regions in Vietnam. Although it is the rainy season, the rains are often brief in the mountain town, allowing you to enjoy its fresh air and the unique, serene charm.

Each season in Da Lat puts on a different coat, promising unforgettable experiences for anyone who visits this lovely highland city.
