In the afternoon:

Actually, this market is for visiting its old building and seeing daily life, not for shopping who are not familiar with bargaining.
Ho Chi Minh Museum of Fine Art (97A Pho Duc Chinh, District 1) is one of the most prominent original galleries in Ho Chi Minh City, and it works only with leading Contemporary Artists. You can study more about the painting art of Vietnam at this gallery and enjoy the great works of Vietnamese artists.
Giac Lam Pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh, located at 118 Lac Long Quan, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The pagoda has an ancient architecture with a peaceful garden. Tourists can learn more about Buddhism and enjoy the tranquil area, which seems to escape from the busy life here.
