Ho Chi Minh City
8:30 am is the suggested time.
A representative of Vietnamdrive will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. We will then start the itinerary of the 2-day Mekong Delta Tour.
The first destination to explore is My Tho. To get to this town, we take a boat to Con Lan (a Small Island in the Mekong Delta). Here, you can visit the honey farm, enjoy honey tea, and taste delicious fruit jams from South Vietnam.
This change helps us to understand more about the life of the people on the river. We continue catching the small boat to go through the green shadow of coconut trees.
After that, we will visit a coconut candy factory to see the process of making coconut candy, a famous local candy in Vietnam.
Take a rest and have lunch with the local food.
We can also taste fruits and listen to folk songs before transferring to Can Tho City.
We will check into the hotel in Can Tho to relax.
After breakfast, we take a boat to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market – the largest market in the Mekong Delta. You may get the option to taste pineapple on the ship, which the local people use to carry to sell around the river.
We will continue to visit the production of rice paper and noodles.
Then, we will transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
In the afternoon, we will finish the 2-day Mekong Tour from Ho Chi Minh City.
