3. Take the Cable Car to Ba Na Hills
At the entrance near the parking area, you can buy your cable car tickets before heading up to Ba Na Hills.
If you need help buying tickets for your group, your driver can assist you. The driver is familiar with the area and can make this step easier. You can also take a few minutes to rest before walking to the cable car station.
The cable car ride to the top takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
4. Explore Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills
Recommended time: 2.5-3 hours
Your driver waits at the parking area while you explore Ba Na Hills.
Ba Na Hills has many attractions and activities, so it is possible to spend several hours there. For this transfer, we recommend around 2.5-3 hours. This gives you enough time to see the main highlights while avoiding a late arrival in Hoi An.
Suggested places to visit include:
- Golden Bridge: A famous photo spot supported by two giant stone-colored hands.
- Debay Wine Cellar: A historic wine cellar built inside the mountain during the French colonial period.
- French Village: European-style buildings with restaurants, cafes, and other attractions. You may like to take a short break with a cup of coffee here before returning to the cable car station.
5. Return to the Parking Area
Take the cable car back down to the parking area where your driver is waiting.
On hot days, we recommend calling your driver around 30 minutes before you return. This gives the driver time to cool down the car before you get in for the journey to Hoi An.
6. Ba Na Hills to Hoi An
Approx. 1.5 hours
Your driver picks you up at the Ba Na Hills parking area and continues directly to your hotel in Hoi An.
Important Notes Before Booking
Flight arrival:
We recommend choosing a flight that arrives at Da Nang Airport before 3:00 PM. Later arrivals may make the Ba Na Hills visit feel rushed.
Cable car:
The private car takes you to the foot of Ba Na Hills and waits for you at the parking area because the car cannot go up the hills. You then take the cable car to explore the Golden Bridge and other attractions at the top. The cable car ticket is not included in the car transfer price.
Waiting time:
The standard waiting time at Ba Na Hills is approximately 2.5-3 hours, which is enough to visit the Golden Bridge and a few nearby attractions. Longer waiting can be arranged for an additional charge.
Driver:
A professional driver is sufficient for this trip, as Ba Na Hills is easy to explore on your own. There are many signs and information boards to help visitors find their way to the attractions at the top.
