Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum

Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum houses and showcases a diverse collection of valuable paintings, sculptures, and antiques, creating an excellent space for art lovers to explore and discover high-art works.

The museum's building, originally designed by Mr. Rivera, a French architect, was completed in 1934. It was the private residence of Hua Bon Hoa, a wealthy Chinese businessman, before transforming into a public space, the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, in 1987. After five years of meticulous planning and restoration, it finally opened its doors to visitors in 1992.

The main area, a three-storey building, stands out with its beautiful French–Chinese architecture and a large yard for ventilation, providing a unique backdrop for your visit.

The most impressive feature of this building is its typical appearance in yellow color, making it a perfect background for taking beautiful pictures.

Inside the building, besides many valuable artifacts and paintings, the top one is the lacquer painting of the Spring Garden in North-Central-South "Vườn Xuân Bắc Trung Nam" of artist Nguyen Gia Tri - one of the most famous painters in Vietnam.
