Da Nang City is so popular not only because of the spectacular sightseeing and beautiful beaches but also because of the holy temples attracting many visitors. Here are 7 of the most popular pagodas in Da Nang that have a large and stable amount of people coming every year to visit and pray for luck and health, especially on New Year days.

1. Linh Ung pagoda, Son Tra Peninsula

Lung Ung pagoda in Son Tra Island is the largest on in Danang regarding the scale and architecture arts. This temple has the highest Guanyin statue (Phat Ba Quan Am) in Vietnam that stood to lean against the mountain, and the eyes are overlooking the sea, which brings the peace and safety to the locals living in the city.

Located on the top of Ba Na hills with the height of 1400m, this temple is one of the most famous holy tourist destinations of Ba Na Hill. Notably, this temple has the Duc Bon Su – a 27-meter-high statue – which is a highlight of Ba Na hill on sunny days.

Quan Am pagoda was constructed in 1957 and is located at the foot of the Kim Son (Metal Mountain) in the Ngu Hanh Son with the majestic mountains and extensive forest. This temple gathers a large amount of local Buddhists and pilgrims from many places during the Buddhist festival.

Located on Thuy Son mountain Peak of Ngu Hanh Son Mountain since 1630, this ancient pagoda has been surrounded with the peaceful and calm nature. This is one of the typical architectural heritage in terms of temples architect of Nguyen dynasty.

6. Pho Da Pagoda

7. Tam Bao pagoda

This temple was found in 1953, this is the first place of Nam Tong Buddha in provinces from the Middle of Vietnam. The temple owns many precious statues, which are lively and sacred. There are 3 statues which are the most popular ones among those: Siddhartha Gautama seeking alms, sitting in meditation and being in Samadhi stage.
